The Decade resolution "strongly encourage(d) mid councils and congregations to hold white privilege recognition, cultural humility, and antiracism trainings throughout the church and commit themselves to disrupting racism and intersectional inequality, including intercultural and intracultural realities."
The Presbytery of Baltimore was way ahead of them. Before the 2018 General Assembly even met, that presbytery adopted a policy mandating that every three years all pastors and presbytery staff must receive training to understand and learn to dismantle racism. (Elders are also encouraged, especially ones serving on presbytery committees.)
